First, let's talk about the exhibitions! Here you can immerse yourselves in the story of Texas, with over 700 original artifacts displayed in the Texas History Galleries, with new artifacts always being added.
Becoming Texas offers a hands-on, immersive experience that uncovers the history of the state, taking you back over 16,000 years, right through to Mexican Independence in 1821.
Moving to the second floor, you can explore Texas history from 1821 to 1936, uncovering personal stories, the people and places that shaped the state to what it is today - from Civil War, slavery and the Great Depression.
The third floor takes you through ranching, industries, and technology, and the states propulsion into the 20th century.
Also at the Bullock Texas State History Museum is an interactive map where you can share your own Texas stories, and an artifact gallery where you can see up close a range of important items that each tell its own story, from books, to furniture, clothing and more.
