About Bryan Memorial Art Gallery

It's an art-tastic family day out in Vermont with a visit to the Bryan Memorial Art Galley - Vermont's most dynamic gallery for the exhibition of the finest landscape painters in New England!

This popular art gallery has been an inspirational home to American landscape painters for over a century (including Thomas Curtain, Emily Gruppe and Charles Curtis Allen), and since then generations of artists have found their way to this charming mountain community (who also continue to paint today!)

There are a number of galleries that you can explore to offer kids an introduction into the wonderful world of art, starting conversations about colors, textures, and what they love and don't love about the art (there are no wrong answers either, which is why art exploration is so great for kids!)

You can explore the Main Gallery, West & East Galleries, and the Middle Room, each of which showcase specific works of art within a common theme.

Many of the exhibits are changing so you can always go back and see something new with every visit!

So enjoy an artistic family day out in New England, and you never know - kids might just come away inspired to create their own masterpiece back home!

A creative way to spend the day in Vermont
