About Boulder Ridge Wild Animal Park

Explore Boulder Ridge Wild Animal Park on foot and enjoy meeting animals from ALL over the world! A number of exotic animals and reptiles call this animal park home, and YOU can meet them, learn about them, and watch them in a naturalistic setting!

Why not start your day by venturing into the reptile house, meeting those slippery and scaly creatures that fascinate and excite?

From there, you can make your way through to check out the ostrich, lemurs, kangaroos, and even monkeys, or if you are feeling brave you might want to cross the bridge to get a closer look at the 11ft alligator in the pond below!

The bird aviary can be next on the agenda, where kids can see beautiful and colorful birds up close, before meandering to the petting zoo. It's here kids might even be lucky enough to pet a baby zebra, or wildebeest, or even water buffalo!

How cool is that?

If you want a break, just enjoy a picnic or spend time in the playground before hopping on a safari ride through the rest of the park that will offer you a chance to feel like you are on the plains of Africa, surrounded by African hoof stock including oryx, eland and ankole cattle.

Throughout the park, Boulder Ridge Wild Animal Park feature exhibit information boards that offer as much education as kids are willing to learn.

They also do a lot of conservation work so they boast an unusually large proportion of rare and endangered species, with whom they are working to preserve, offering kids even more invaluable educational experiences throughout the day.
