About Boo Castle Park

Boo Castle Park at Boo Rochman Memorial Park is not your average day at the park with the kids! In fact, a day here is a day surrounded by mystery, and magic and wonder!

Boo Castle Park is actually a private park that is open to the general public, and was created to honor the memory of Jeremy "Boo" Rochman, He just LOVED to play with toy action figures, and as he grew older, he loved painting wizard figures.

So during your day out at this truly special park, you will be surrounded by giant wizard statutes, an scattered dragon sculptures that are climbable!

Kids can use those imaginations to transport themselves to the medieval era, or into Dungeons and Dragons itself!

The centerpiece of the park is a wood and stone castle, which is actually an elaborate jungle gym filled with stairs, and tunnels, and bridges. Keep an eye out for those hidden doors and passageways - you never know what you might find! Also at the castle is Jeremy's extensive sword collection which is also an impressive site!

Known as one of Carbondale's best kept secrets, Boo Castle Park is a place where kids can surround themselves with the wonder and magic of simply playing!
