If you want a truly impressive trip through history in a spectacular feat of architecture and gardens, then this is the place for you! Kids might not just believe their eyes.
Biltmore Estate is set on a HUGE 8,000 acres, and features a 250 room chateau, built by George Vanderbilt. It's as impressive today as it would have been over a century ago when it was first built.
During your visit, you can enjoy a self-guided tour of the house, as well as the stunning gardens all around it. Have you heard of landscape architect Frederick Law? If you haven't - you will certainly know who he is after your visit!
The self-guided your takes you on a marked route, and you will find knowledgeable guides along the way who can help answer any questions you may have! The tour will take between 90 minutes and 2 hours, but of course you're on your own pace, which is a great way to be seeing a historic property with kids.
They can just imagine the sights and sounds of the family who lived there 100 years before. What would they have been like? How are their lives different?
Your admission also includes a free visit to Antler Hill Village and Winery - parents that ones for you, especially with your free wine your and tasting!
If you want to enjoy a guided tour, Biltmore Estate have a few options, including the regular guided tour, a rooftop tour, and even a behind the scenes tour too! You can even take a tour of the grounds too

Is Biltmore Estate fully accessible?
The First and Second Floors have elevator service and are accessible by wheelchair. Due to the historic architecture, many floors have stairs and are not wheelchair accessible. Biltmore does offer discounts for guests that are not able to access other areas of Biltmore House
Any additonal information?
Biltmore welcomes pets on the property. For the safety of pets and horses, pets are not allowed at Biltmore Equestrian Center or on horse trails.
