If you want to experience a safari, you don't have to head all the way over to Africa to do so! You just have to head to Alvin!
The Bayou Wildlife Zoo is an impressive, open range animal zoo, that features wildlife from 19 countries all across the globe! There are species from Australia, and Asia, the Americas, and of course, Africa. After alll, we're about to go on a safari!
The Bayou Wildlife Zoo will send you on a safari-like adventure throughout the 80 acres of habitat. An experienced guide will be with you the whole time, so as you travel through the prairies and woods, you can hear fascinating facts about all of the animals you're seeing!
The trams that you will be traveling on are specially made, so you can really see everything that the zoo has for you - and it stops you from having to navigate the park on foot!
The safari rides last for around 45 minutes, and is perfect for families and kids who want a fun and unique animal experience. There are different areas to the park, so across your family day out you can get to know all of them! All of the habitats are suited to the animals that live there, and are made as close as possible to what they would be used to in the wild.
If THAT wasn't enough, Bayou Wildlife Zoo also have THREE monkey islands, as well as alligator points. Pretty cool!
