Barrier Island Ecotours
About Barrier Island Ecotours
There is some pretty amazing wildlife in our oceans and near our beaches, and lucky for all of you in or heading to South Carolina - you can experience it all with Barrier Island EcoTours!
Barrier Island EcoTours have a WHOLE range of tours just waiting to take you out and explore the nature and wildlife of the barrier islands. Why not pick from one of their scheduled trips, like the Capers Wildlife Exploration, or the Dolphin Discovery Sunset Cruise?
Capers takes you on a 3.5 hour excursion by boat all the way to Capers Island, where you can see one of the few remaining barrier islands that are undeveloped. Dolphins are AMAZING creatures, and what better way to see them than on a 2.5 hour boat excursion where you can see all the dolphins playing and feeding.
The Blue Crabbing Excursion is always popular with the kids, where they can head to a very cool crabbing spot and learn all about the life history of the crabs! Then get ready to eat some of the freshest seafood you've ever tasted when you can enjoy your catch that evening!
With Marine Biology Day Camps and Creek Fishing, there are certainly plenty of tours to choose from!
If you have a big family and want your own tour, they can organize your very own private charter just for you! Maybe you want a beachside cookout ... right on the beach!
The great thing about Barrier Island Ecotours is…it’s ECO friendly! Kids will learn all about he environment, and why we need to protect it, as well as HOW they can help! More than just a family day out!
