At Audubon Zoo, you'll find an exotic mix of animals from around the globe, all living in engaging natural habitats and lush gardens. There are a number of exhibits at the zoo, where kids can learn about all the various creatures of the world.

The Gorilla Troop is home to the endangered Western lowland gorilla, and the perfect place for kids to learn about conservation, and why it's so important. 

You can explore the African Savanna with those exotic wonders including the long necked giraffe, or see the magical elephants of Asia.

I’m Hungry! Can I get food at Audubon Zoo?

There are SO many places to grab something to eat, because it's not just those furry animals that need feeding! There's traditional New Orleans food at the Cypress Knee Cafe, or you can grab a nice lunch at the Flamingo Cafe. There are also places to grab something sweet, like Roman Candy!

Any top tips when visiting?

If you want to support the zoo, look into adopting an animal!

Does Audubon Zoo have a gift shop?

The Audubon Marketplace have great animal-themed gifts for all! There's also a shop for those necessities, as well as a Swamp Gift Shop filled with Louisiana themed items
