Anastasia State Park welcomes SO many families from all over the world to enjoy their natural and cultural treasures. And now it's your turn to visit! It's all about outdoor adventure and immersing yourself in nature at this popular Florida State Park. At Anastasia the whole family can enjoy camping, as well as nature trails where you can try and spot the local wildlife. You can make your way through the varying landscapes, including a tidal salt marsh, an maritime and upland hammock.
There is plenty of space to lay a towel and just relax on the beach. Four miles of pristine beach to be exact! Or why not get out onto the water with a host of water sports, including windsurfing, canoeing and kayaking.
Did you know that there is also a rich history at Anastasia State Park? Here you can visit Coquina Quarry, which is an archaeological site where coquina rock was mined to create the nearby fortress, Castillo de San Marcos National Monument, which is listed on the National Register of Historic Places.
The full-facility campground is located in a wooded area within easy bicycling or walking distance of the beach, if you decide to extend your family day out into something longer.
If you don't have your own equipment to get out onto the water, check out Anastasia Watersports who rent canoes, sailboards, paddleboats, and kayaks. Lessons on various water sports are available too.

The park try and offer accessible amenities, including accessible campsites, beach wheelchair, picnicking, playground and the restaurant.
Any additonal information?
For campers who plan to arrive after sunset, call the park on the day of arrival at (904) 461-2033 to get the gate combination and instructions. All campers must be set up before 11 p.m.
