About Alameda Park and Kids World Playground

We just LOVE a good park at Family Days Out, and we especially love them if they have something special for the kids!

Welcome to Alameda Park!

Alameda Park is actually one of Santa Barbara's oldest parks, and gives you two blocks of history AND fun for your time together.  The park also stretches for two-blocks, and has an amazing collection or rare trees! Did you know that? They even have a Alameda Plazas Self-Guided Tree Tour if you want to check them all out.

The park has plenty of space for you to just enjoy time as a family, to take some games, a ball and mitt, or frisbee, and just enjoy that classic park experience.

But we know kids, you want that something special don't you? Well, Alameda Park also has a HUGE 8,000 sq ft children's playground too! Yep! It's not just any playground either - it has a castle that you can fend from those fiery dragons!

Called Kids World, the playground is one of the largest in the area, and is best suited for kids aged 2 to 12 years. There are plenty of things to swing from, climb up, slide down, or hide in. It's great for those kids with that bit too much energy, and really we all know that means most of them!

So kids, are you ready to have a day in the park AND enjoy a royal play experience as you become King and Queens of the castle?

It's play time!
