If this mountain were twice as tall, it would be really awesome. They get tons of snow and have great, steep terrain. The problem is that the runs are pretty short. This was great for me, as I was pretty out of shape and stated cramping up in the early afternoon, but normally in-shape skiers might find that the lack of terrain diversity and short runs makes the day start to seem a tad repetitive. The local town, Nelson, is pretty cool & laid back. Tons of college students and a huge under-25 crowd. This is not a place for the chic Deer Valley UT or Aspen CO type.
