About The Maritime Museum of BC
The Maritime Museum of BC offers a wide array of informative public, educational and outreach programs. There's lots of opportunities for visitors to explore the nautical history and ocean sciences, from rotating exhibits to special events, there's always lots to see, do and explore and the maritime museum.
The permanent exhibit Detal Beyond Measure features models, half hulls and name plats and so much more. They also run an inner harbour maritime tour starting at the museum and last one hour, taking you to the inner harbour. During the tour, you'll hear some maritime stories, look for memories of the past and consider what Victoria's history means for us today.
The museum has a diverse collection of objexts, books, boats and more and are preserved for generations to come. There are 35,000 objects, 500 pieces of artwork, books, plans and photos to explore whilst you visit.
There are also many programs and workshops on offer. The museum tots is for ages 3-5 and they'll get to explore the museum through play, crafts, dance and games. And the workshops wll guide you to create lots of crafts that make beautiful heirlooms to take home!

Is The Maritime Museum of BC fully accessible?
We have a gender inclusive, single stall washroom available that has a baby change table. While this should be large enough for a standard wheelchair to fit in, a motorized wheelchair will not.
