A great place to spend a summer day with the kids. Bring a picnic lunch and bathing suits. Storybook Gardens is actually in Springbank Park (London, Ont), not where this is shown.

My family vactioned in London, Ontario in the late 1970's and we spent a day at Storybook Gardens. I can still remember it vividly; we all enjoyed it and had such a wonderful time. I remember riding a train around the beautiful property. It was one of my most favorite vacations.

We recently went to Storybook Gardens after a few nights of camping in Kitchener. We found it reasonable, very clean and well kept. It is a perfect place for kids between the ages of 3 and 8. My 8 year old son had fun, but did realize that the majority of the attractions in the park are better for the younger kids. My 5 year old daughter loved everything. It is small enough to get through in a couple of hours and large enough to spend a whole day there. They have water bottle filling stations (don't rob you for $3/water) and you can pack a lunch and bring it in. The splash pad was great and kept us all cool throughout the hot day. Kudos to the city of London for keeping such a great place great.
