About Shames Mountain

Shames Mountain receives an average of 475 inches of annual snowfall, and is one of deepest and most consistent snow packs in North America! There's over 1600 vertical feed of powder snow and is family friendly, so everyone can get involved!

There are 28 cut runs and natural glades on the mountain and theres lot of options for both beginners and more pro skiers too. Surrounded by more than 7800 acres of natural landscape, the views are incredible and worth the trip to ski in such a stunning location.

Skiing and snowboarding lessons and open routes are available, with lessons beginning at age 8 and all levels of ability catered for with route options split 21% green runs and 60% blue with the rest black or higher.

Gear up in their lodge, with washrooms, lockers and and a retail store onsite if you need to pick something up or stock up on your snow gear! The Panhandler Cafe offers lots of snacks like burgers, soups and chilli to warm you up, as well as salad and yoghurts if you prefer. There a place to grab a hot drink and also watch live music if there's an event on.
