About Powder King

Powder King is located in the wilderness of the Canadia Rockies, with an annual snowfall of 41 feet. There's terrains for the more adventurous skier, to the gentle slopes for the beginners. It's only 500 yards from the highway so easy accessible for a great family adventure on the slopes. 

There are 925 acres of skiable terrains to enjoy, with 640m of vertical drop to explore. They also have the Azouzetta Lake where you can admire the frozen waterfalls or head for a snowshoe adventure! Did you know you can kayak too? Kayak in the pristine waters and enjoy the white trees as you kayak around the lake, remember to wrap up warm!

Skiing and snowboarding lessons and open routes are available, with lessons beginning at age 5 and they state that usually novices are skiing after just 1 lesson. All levels of ability catered for with route options split 33% green runs, 37% blues and the rest black or higher. There is also a beginner friendly terrain park for developing skills, tricks and confidence.

There's lots of facilities on site including a dining room and lounge, cafes and refreshments to enjoy too. As well as activities and events that run regularly, there's no short of things to do here at Powder King.
