Pirates Cove Whale and Seabird cruises has been providing tours for over 24 years in the bay of Fundy! The Sollows family invite you to come out on a venture and spot the whales, seabirds and the other amazing marine ecosystem in the area.
The Bay on Fundy is the summer feeding grounds for many of the marine mammals and seabirds. Each year from mid May to later fall, the bay is full with marine life and is one of the richest marine habitats in the world.
Each cruise beginers at the Tivertone Harbour and departure times are usually 10am, 1pm and 5pm sunset cruise if demand is high! A cruise will last from 3-4 hours, depending on how far you have to go to spot the whales! Humpback, Fin and Minke whales are often found and you'll oass the Boards Head Lighthouse which is a working lighthouse too. You may even spot the Right Whale which was hunted nearly to extinction and still only have a population of 400, half of which come to the Bay of Fundy each summer.
There's also dolphines, seals, sharks and lots more to spot too!Each trip is different and you never know what you're going to see but the guides on board will talk you through the marine life and provide some interesting facts for you too.
