Pike Lake Provincial Park is a recreation park characterized by aspen, poplar and Manitoba maple groves; manicured lawns with two picnic areas close to the main beach; desert-like sand dunes a short hike away and a popular outdoor pool with a waterslide. Add to this a diverse array of plants and wildlife owing to its location on a flood plain of the South Saskatchewan River and you can see why Pike Lake Provincial Park offers a delightful change of pace for people wishing to recharge their batteries without having to travel for hours.
Located on the South Saskatchewan River, there's lots of activities for families and visitors! Including water activities, playgrounds, tennis, beach volleyball and so much more. You'll also be able to enjoy the 1.5km Gift of Green Nature Trail which starts at the interpretive centre and will allow you to explore the wildlife and diverse ecosystems on the way! The pool is on site is open early June to Labour Day too.
There are lots of amenities on site if you wanted to extend your stay, including modern washroms, firepits, drinking water, picnic arenas, showers and laundry facilities. There's also food available on site too to pick you up a quick snack!
