Pacific Rim National Park Reserve
About Pacific Rim National Park Reserve
Pacific Rim presents the rich natural and cultural heritage of Canada's west coast. Its cool and wet maritime climate produces an abundance of life in the water and on land. Lush coastal temperate rainforest gives way to bountiful and diverse intertidal and subtidal areas. These natural wonders are interwoven with the long and dynamic history of the Nuu-chah-nulth First Nations and European explorers and settlers.
Watch the winter breakers crash on a rocky shoreline, or enjoy a lovely summer walk along the stay beach, or why not head out on your kayak? There's so much to discover and explore in the area which is rich in nature and history.
Head out on the West Coast Trail and enjoy the 75km trail, wow! It follows the one-time survival route of unlucky shipwreck victims through forests, beaches and bridges. Or why not catch a wave and enjoy some surfing in the summer! It's great for both beginners and experts. Immese yourself in the interpretive walks, storytelling and interactive displays hosted by the park too.
