About McCain Art Gallery

McCain Art Gallery presents work by regional and provincial artists and artisans. Exhibitions change monthly and feature work ranging from historical to contemporary and is a great place to visit for any art lovers!

The gallery hosts many programs and workshops throughout the year. They have a Schools Out Workshop for children, where you can join them for some creative workshops including acrylic pour painting, learn how to create and decorate your own bird feeders and learn for the make your own bracelets that light up when snapped together. Perfect for getting the kids to be creative and unleash their creative side! They also have regular festivals and art classes at the weekend for children to get creative. 

The regular changing exhibits means there's always something new to take a look at. Most exhibits come from locals artists and includ paintings, drawings, photographs and sculptures, plus lots more! The season starts each year at the end of January with its first of 8 - 12 annual shows. It's a non-profit gallery and it will allow visitors to appreciate and broaden their knowledge of the arts. The gallery was established in 1984 and offers creative space for workshops, private studio spaces, printshop, wood carving stuio and a residency space for visiting artists.
