About Massif du Sud

Massif du Sud has an average of 730cm of snow each year, which is why it has been a long standing attraction for thirty years! The undergrowth and groomed slopes makes it a great family destination for all ages and abilities, including winter sports, activities and games for everyone to enjoy.

The mountain is made up of 36 trails and glades two fantastic snow parks! Their snow school is suitable for all ages. Skiing and snowboarding lessons and open routes are available, with lessons beginning with a 3 to 6 years age group but is perhaps best suited to intermediate users as there are only 4 green runs and 3 blue, with a further 23 designated black or higher.

Other snow sports hosted here include Catski and Heli Safaris, cross country skiing, horseback riding, snowmobiling and snowshoeing.

The mountain offers both a snack bar with traditional food on offer to a sanwhich shop where you'll get to try out their famous soup too! Check out their MDS mountain clothing and accessories store which features downhill ski, snowboards, polls and helmets in case you forget yours, or if you're in need of an upgrade. You can always rent out equipment if you prefer to!
