That certainly is a family day out with a difference!
Little Ray's Reptile Zoo, with over 150 animals on display that the kids can see up close, learn about, and observe!
What's great about this reptile zoo is that it allows kids to get up close and personal with the animals. The emphasis is hands-on interactive education, which will guarantee everyone a zoological experience like no other.
Kids can see giant pythons slither, huge alligators snapping, or rattlesnakes rattling! There are also cobras, tarantulas, marmosets and even birds of prey. Pretty impressive!
They have 25 permanent animal exhibits for you to explore, featuring some of the most famous reptiles in the world! They also have 20 feature animal exhibits that they rotate every 6 months, so if you want to head back, there will be something new to see!
The zoo is completely indoors and weather permitting, the outdoor pens are open from June to August.
Make sure you take note of the hands-on presentations and feeding demonstrations throughout the day. It's a great way for kids to add some extra learning into their day.
