About Kamloops Art Gallery
The Kamloops Art Gallery is the principal Gallery for the visual arts in the Southern Interior of British Columbia. The Gallery is committed to the belief that art is an essential part of the human experience. The gallery features changing exhibitions of regional, national and international art with a contemporary and historic focus.
The programs and events off opportunities for all ages to learn how art connects us with our daily lives. Programs include art camps, interactive tours, activities, workshops and more that all encourage self-expression whilst learning art techniques and design concept across a variety of mediums.
They run regular after school sessions to develop skills and get hands on experience in the studio and engage with the exhibitions through activities and discussions.
They also offer day art camps that connect to the current exhibitions and you'll explore the art works through interactive tours and activities as well as studio workshops. The gallery is a great place for children to unleash their creativity, learn more about the history and a place that encourages self expression!
