First opened in 1977, the Humber Arboretum is a joint venture of the City of Toronto, Humber College and Toronto and Region Conservation.
The Humber Arboretum has now completed our new Centre for Urban Ecology. This new facility provides a first-rate venue for education and research on urban ecology and an up-to-date example of environmental sustainability.
Our programs include: - Garden Tours - School Programs - Nature Walks, Ecology, Backyard Habitat, Pond and Insect Studies - Urban Wildlife Gardening and Schoolyard Naturalization - Educational and Service Group Programs - Guide and Scout Badge Programs, Adult groups - Summer Nature Camp for 6 - 13 year olds - Bird Watching
