Honeybee Centre is a working honeybee farm and tourist attraction. They are also the new home to the Bees & Bugs lab, an interactive live bug & bee exhibit. See live bees & bugs, watch a demonstration on the weekend, or shop and sample a dozen varieties of delicious honey!
Honeybee Centre has an amazing variety of other bee themed gifts and health products. From candles to soap, pollen to propolis, you can find gifts, natural remedies, and sweet treats for everyone. Locally made specialties like chocolate covered honey truffles, hand made beeswax candles, beeswax lip balms and beeswax & honey soaps are just a few of the great products we've got in store.
If it's health products you're looking for, they've got pollen for seasonal allergies, propolis for your immune system, or royal jelly for your whole body function. Come in and ask any staff member to find something that's right for you.
If you've always wanted to try your hand at beekeeping then they do beekeeping courses too for a fun and educational experience, as well as field trips so you can see the bees in action in a safe environment.

Honeybee Centre is a commercial pollinator. We pollinate blueberries, raspberries, cranberries and much more in our community throughout the summer for maximum fruit production
I’m Hungry! Can I get food at Honeybee Centre?
The Tea Hive Cafe is set in our beautiful greenhouse. Drink tea, coffee, or honey-themed baked goods, fresh from Applewood Bakery, with the relaxing sounds of our artesian waterfall.
Does Honeybee Centre have a gift shop?
Everything bee-related you can imagine. Great local gifts and treats that will please any guests awaiting your return home.
Teachers corner
Fully guided educational tours about bees and other invertebrates will amazing your students. Learn about pollination, life cycles, habitats, and defence of all sorts of creepy crawlies. Check out the website for more info on our programs.
