About Historic Stewart Farm
The Historic Stewart Farm is located in Elgin Heritage Park in South Surrey, BC. This picturesque site interprets the time period 1890-1920. Features include a furnished farmhouse, pole barn with agricultural tools and machinery, boathouse, threshing shed, root cellar, and heritage gardens and orchard.
History comes alive, telling the story of the hardworking Surrey family in the early 1900s. There are activities for both children, adults and families of all ages too. You can drop in to the decorated farmhouse and you'll be greeted by a costumed guide. Tour the house at your own pace to gain a new perspective on how the families once lived in Surrey.
Take your time as you explore outside, open from dawn to dusk! You can use the map and onsite storyboards to see the garden, building exteriors and a glimpse inside the vintage equipment too! Peek in the windows or simply relax on the benchs and really imagine what life was like. There are lots of park trails to discover too, including the river, forest, plants and animals that call this place their home.
