About Georgina Military Museum
Georgina Military Museum is a community based venue, which provides tours for schools and the general public! The tours are highly textured, interactive and presents the involvement of members of our society in Canadian wartime conflicts of past and present.
School tours are one of their main offerings. They cater for all ages, particularly high school history classes, which give the students the experience of coming face to face with artefacts, soldiers and their stories.
They also offer tours for Brownies, Girl Guides Boy Scouts and more! They can tailor the tour to fit within your chosen timing and make it a fun experience for them.
They often hold events on site, so check the website before your visit and time your outing with something that is happening on the day at the site.
The museum welcomes donations of all kinds, including uniforms, medals, maps and diaries, so get in touch with them if you have an item that you think they may be interested in.
