About Diefenbunker Canada's Cold War Museum
Diefenbunker Canada's Cold War Museum was built to protect the government from nuclear attack, this once-secret bunker is now a museum and National Historic Site of Canada. Youll be able to take a guided tour or explore on your own, as well as discovering the many exhibits they have on display.
The museum also has a multi-award winning escape room that runs through Thursday to Sunday and takes place on a 25,000 square feet gloor! Use logic and teamfwork to find clues solve puzzles and make it out before the clock counts down. There are two esacpe experiences to choose from. Covert Cops will allow you to explore the depths of the bunkers and you must find the communications room, stop the launch sequence and altern the outside world before it's too later! The Radioactive escape experience will allow you to be completley shut off from other visitors and a radioactive event has triggered, will you make it out of the bunker?
The museum offers a one of a kind learning experience as it's 75ft underground! You can experience the complexities of the Cold War and see how it affects our lives today. They also run a week long spu camp, using coding, technology and more, you can discover what it takes to become a secret agent! Practice skills like solving puzzles and complete top-secret missions by finding clues!

Is Diefenbunker Canada's Cold War Museum fully accessible?
The museum is mostly accessible. A stair lift is available for use by wheelchair users, those with limited mobility, or anyone who is unable to use the stairs fully or partially. The lift cannot be used for strollers — the best way to get around underground is with a baby carrier.
