Centennial Museum of Sheguiandah allows you to explore the life and times of pioneers are brought to life in the barn, sugar shack and reconstructed log homes. Check our artifacts from one of Canada's oldest archaeological sites, tge captivating new marine exhibit and much, much more!
You'll find weekly activities, art exhibitis and a relaxing park with a playground and picnic area too for the young ones to play around in. You'll find walking tours around the village and live art exhibitions, as well as games nights and pioneer crafts when the museum is open for the season.
You can discover furnity, clothing and farm equipment from the founding families of the Towen of Little Current and the Township of Howland. The collection has also been expanded to include the Roosevelt plane. The main exhibit area includes a display about shipping through the North Channel from 1874 to present day. Get involved in the workshops, art shows, hiking trails and tours for a family day out for the whole family that provides educational programs as well as fun!
