Carousel Theatre is considered one of Canada's leading theatre companies for young people and has been operating for more than 35 years. The company operates a small arts complex on Granville Island and offers a mainstage season at the Waterfront Theatre, a school matinee program, and a teen Shakespeare program in summer, as well as a year-round theatre school for children aged three to 17 years.

They welcome schools for class bookings too which often come with a discount for groups of ten or more. The plays run all year and you'll find one suitable for all different ages, with often a modern take on some classics! They've all been written and performed with the children in mind. 

They often run events too. With baby raves which means families can dance to music with an in-house DJ and will help get the little ones up and moving and let loose to some classic tunes! There's storytelling and drama workshops too for all the budding actors and actresses out there!
