About Canadian Ski Museum

Canadian Ski Museum (CSMus) is the history of skiing in Canada. It is a record of people, their stories, activities, achievements and a wealth of fascinating artifacts. It opens a window to the rich culture and heritage through the past, present and future achievements of skiing in Canada! 

There are a number of collections displayed in the museum. The Crazy Canucks Collection is the stories behind the gear and why it's so important to prepare the right gear for every competition. This includes the line, helmet, downhill suit, skis, wax and so much more! You'll discover the origin of the Canadian Yellow Downhill Suit, Crazy Cunucks Winning Ski and inside Kathy Kreiner's personalised helmet and much more! 

Explore the memorable oments, stories, research and artifacts that span roughly 10,000 years. Find out about the Winter Olympics in 1960's and how t increased global interest and expansion of lots of different spots disciplines. You'll also find out about memorable people including Anne Heggtveit who became the first ever Canadian to wie an Olympic gold in skiing, The Crazy Canucks, Horst Bulau, Nancy Greene Rainse and so many more!
