Butterfly World and Gardens offer an indoor and outdoor facility offering lush orchid and tropical gardens ideal for family exploration in search of mini beasts.Walk through tropical bird aviaries and ponds full of life are spread about, offering differing trails, with lizards, turtles and other reptiles.

And in the Big Bug Jungle kids can learn about the life cycles and stages of all sorts of bugs from around the world, usually up close and personal. There are no guided tours available, however the staff on site are very knowledgeable so just ask them a question! 

It's important that you do not feed the butterflies or any other wildlife and to always watch your step as you never know what may be laying on the ground in front of you!

There are lots of other critters and wildlife including three tarantulas which can be viewed, safely, behing glass... phew! Not to mention some finches that fly freely through the greenhouse and they'll greet you with their sweet songs. You may also find them nesting and feeding their babies whilst you're there too!
