About Beacons Hill Childrens Farm

Beacons Hill Childrens Farm is located within beautiful Beacon Hill Park in Victoria, B.C. They take pride in being able to bring the farm animal experience into the city where some children may never see such animals up close in real life. The hands on approach teaches respect for living creatures is memorable for all.

The farm has been open since 1985 and they take pride in providing an educational and entertained visit for the whole family. They want children to repsect the animals, and them teaching this will remain with them for their life! 

The farm has hundreds of farm animals that attract families, summer camps, groups and more! Admission is by free, but they do ask a suggested donation of $5 to help keep the animals looks after and to maintain the farm! 

Onsite you'll find goats, Jacob sheep, minature donkeys, a potbelly pig, alpacas, ducks, chichens, birds and doves! You're welcome to pet any animals at the fence who wish to be pet, just be gentle and calm! You can also help out the animals and the farm by sponsoring your favourite farm residents to help give them their specific needs like hay or medical care and you'll also receive a special certificate in the post!

Is Beacons Hill Childrens Farm fully accessible?

All of the paths inside the farm are gravel, with no steep inclines and no stairs.
