Beachville and District Museum is situated on 4.5 acres of lush parkland. Beachville was the heart of Oxford County and possesses a fascinating history. It houses many interesting artifacts from Mastadon bones, a history of limestone quarries and a baseball display describing the first baseball game. Bring the family and go for a stroll, or relax and have a picnic and celebrate Beachville's history. 

Home to a vast amount of artifacts, you'll marvel at collections of agricultural tools, learn what domestic life was like by exploring the period rooms and learn about the history of the limestone quarries and view mastodon bones, rock fragments and other finds. 

The museum also holds regular events throughout the year, including a festive light up the museum special event. Join them for a holiday celebration where they'll be playing music, roasting marshmallows on the fire and drinking some hot chocolate! They'll switch on the lights string in the trees around the museum and across the property which will sure give all visitors the wow effect!
