The Battle Ground Hotel Museum sits on a part of the remaining untouched lands of the Lundy's Lane Battlefield. Visitors to the site are offered a guided tour of the period rooms where they will experience tavern life in 1850. Costumed staff are on hand to give visitors a glimpse into early tourism in Niagara and the fascination with battle fields from the War of 1812.
The museum is located in the grounds of the Lundy's Lane Battlefrield. Visitors will be given a presentation about village tavern life and the battlefied. The museum is the only illustration of a 10th century inns, is an important part of early Ontario tourism.
The guide tour will tansform you back to 1850's tavern life, where this small town thrived from it's prximity to the falls and it's location is one of the bloodiest battle fought on Canadian soil. Vist the various resorted rooms throughout the building such as the Lady's Parlour. This room was considered a safe haven for children and was socially acceptable for women to congregate. The decor of the room is feminine and you'll get to see the ornate tea set too which indicated social status and wealth.
Visit the pantry and see where the food and dishware was stored too. Tour start at the museum, and start at 2pm through the months of July, July and August.

This site has no on-site parking; however the City of Niagara Falls maintains two parking lots within a two-minute walk of the Museum.
Is Battle Ground Hotel Museum fully accessible?
Wheelchair Accessibility: The Museum is partially accessible. There is access to the room at the Museum entrance. Paths to the building are crushed stone.
