About Artspace Peterborough
ARTSPACE's main gallery is dedicated to presentation of exhibitions by Canadian artists at all stages of their careers. Programming consists of six annual exhibitions, special projects, artists residencies, and sound/video events all throughout the year.
The gallery is a non-rpofit artist run centre that helps connect the community of Peterborough with contemporary Canadian art. It's been serving the community for over 45 years and was one of the first artist-run centres in Canada. It's there to engage and attract voth visitors and talents through thought-provoking echibitions that engage with diverse culturas and political perspectives.
They hold many events throughout the year, including a holiday market and fundraiser over the weekends. It's a chance to connect with the local community, admire art and celebrate the festivities.
The Maker Space is a comfortable place where the community can access a broad range of tools and materials for art making and creative exploration! This will help connect the community by allowing a place for people to go to release their creativity through art.
