Arctic Adventure Tours, run in conjunction with Arctic Chalet, offer some pretty incredibly adventure tours for the family (some even up to the Arctic!)
How about dog sledding! It's something that's common in the area but if you haven't experienced it before, it's a must! With Arctic Adventure Tours, the dog sledding you will do is different from other sled tours, usually you just follow the guide.
Here, you do all the driving! It's just you, and your team of dogs! Perfect for those young adventurers over 8 years...amazing!
If you are still loving the dogs, you can try the Husky Kennel Tours, where kids can learn all about the dogs, and what it takes to breed and look after them. If there are puppies you can hold and cuddle!
How about snowmobiling!? You can either ride your own, or have a guide drive for you, and these two hour trips take you to amazing locations just outside of Inuvik. This includes an overnight experience but and dinner and breakfast included!
Why not experience the iconic Dempster Highway, or enjoy some skiing and snowboarding? Maybe you just want to hang back and enjoy a tour of the town itself, and learn about the history?
