About Alberta Sports Hall of Fame and Museum

The Alberta Sports Hall of Fame and Museum is an interactive, hands-on celebration of Alberta's sporting history. The over 7,000 square feet of exhibit space includes a multisport interactive virtual system with hockey, baseball, soccer, basketball and football, a 200 meter wheelchair challenge; a press box where you become the sports caster; a 40 seat theatre and the Honoured Members Gallery.

The hall has lots of interactive games, including a multi-sports area with virtual basketball, football, hocke and more. You'll use real equipment and kicks, shoots at a virtual screen! There's also a Treadwall Climbing Wall and Golf Putting area to get involved in. Other games include the 200m wheelchair raise, snakes and ladders and lots more. 

The gallery features changing exhibits throughout the year, with thousands of objects to discover. 

The Hall of Fame Gallery features outstanding sports people, artifacts and photos that honours Alberta's rich sports heritage, and you'll learn all about the members too. The ice and snow gallery will allow you to virtually experience the rush of going down a bobsled track! 

The Hockey Gallery  features medals, trophies, stories and more that recgonised current champions and Alberta's hocket history. Whatever sport you're interested in, you'll learn and find out more about it's history!
