About Aero Space Museum of Calgary
Learn about western Canada's aviation history at the Aero Space Museum of Calgary. Located in a drill hall that was built as part of the British Commonwealth Air Training Plan during the Second World War, the museum is a must-see destination for anyone passionate about aviation and it's history.
Enjoy a guided tour led by one of the knowledgable guides as you'll be led through the hangar. Or head out on your own and visit at your pace.
Did you know you can also sleepover at the museum?! Delve into the history and science of flight, watch a movie and sleep amongst the planes. You'll have a chouce of a museum led program, evening snack, breakfast and optional movie as you're surrounded by historical aircraft history.
They also have a united space school for anyone considering having a career in the aerospace industry and you'll learn from experts in the field! Students get a real sense for what types of careers the space industry offers, and also get a sense of what the lifestyle feels like by being billeted with a family in Houston for 2 weeks during the summer.
