Werribee Open Range Zoo 200 hectare property with many of Africa’s most iconic animals, as well as wildlife indiginous grasslands of Asia, North America and Australia, who move in natural fashion through completely open range landscape.

Entry includes a Safari Tour in their bus, a good way to see most of the zoo first and plan your trip. There are also landscape and walking tours available to explore the enclosed terrain populated by peaceful animals.

Special exhibits include one of the largest Gorillas exhibits in the world, the Kubu River Hippos experience, Serval Cat Demonstration and Lion exhibit.

Zoos Victoria respects and acknowledges the Traditional Owners as the original guardians of the land and waters, as well as their deep spiritual connection to them. They pay tribute to Elders of the past and present who safeguarded culture and ancient ways by preserving their knowledge and wisdom.
