About The Museum of the Riverina Botanic Gardens

*** CURRENTLY CLOSED FOR DEVELOPMENT ***

Wagga Wagga is a surprisingly green city, and as lovely as the parks are to run around in, there's something nice about visiting a place which is dedicated to the beautiful nature that kids can explore!

The Museum of the Riverina Botanic Gardens is a great place to visit if you love gardens and nature. Kids can explore all the amazing flowers and learn all about the wonderful different species of plants.

The museum is not just a garden though!

This is also the home of the Wagga Wagga Sporting Hall of Fame, where kids can learn all about the amazing achievements of local athletes. If they want inspiration, they just have to read the stories of some of the people who started life just like them! They can be anything they want to be!

What we love best of all, though, about The Museum of the Riverina Botanic Gardens, is Kidzone!

Kidzone is a super fun discovery space which is there JUST for the kids! There are activities which help kids discover, explore, create, learn, and have fun! It's just for kids aged 5 to 12, and they can even be ANYTHING they want to be in the dress up section (maybe they want to be a swashbuckling pirate, or ranger in the jungle!), they can practice their reading skills with the books, try and triumph over the puzzles and have an amazing time playing the games!

So much more than a garden, The Museum of the Riverina Botanic Garden is a fun and activity packed adventure for kids! Let’s get creative!
