Get those skates on kids - literally!
Formerly Peninsula Skateworld, Sk8house is a super fun place for the family to keep active, have fun and enjoy something together. Kids can also learn new skills and tricks, and gain confidence whilst devloping their coordination, balance, and flexibility. Sounds pretty cool!
Sk8house has public sessions where you can spend a couple of hours just enjoying the rink. When you purchase a ticket for a session, you can jump and and off the rink as many times as you like, so it's a great way for kids to get used to the wheels if they are unsure.
Then, all you have to worry about is skating to your favourite tunes, and having a great time!
If you have little toddlers in the family and they want to enjoy the rink without the intimidation of older kids, Sk8house have special toddler sessions where they can just enjoy the rink with other little keen skaters. Perfect to get them ready for the big kid sessions!
If kids OR parents want to brush up on some skills, or learn a few of the basics before hitting the public sessions, Sk8house offer a whole host of lessons - whether you are a tot, and adult, or want to try something new and different like speed skating or dance skating!
They also have roller derby if you really want to try something new and challenging!
Sk8world have the skates and blades there to rent, or you can bring your own.
With birthday parties too, Sk8world is literally where you can get your skates on - and not have to rush!

Doing our bit
Sk8house are big supporters of local schools and clubs. They supply local schools with fundraising packages, assembly awards and more.
Recently they teamed with community schooling to support an arts project and we anticipate offering many more opportunities like this!
I’m Hungry! Can I get food at Sk8house?
Their canteen offers hot and cold food and beverages. Their cappachino's are awesome! Kids love the slushies, icecreams, lollies even showbags!
They have a meal deal entry ticket too
Any top tips when visiting?
As in any sport you should always wear protective gear, and they recommend that you consider your safety first. Always wear socks preferably long socks not anklets as that can cause blisters.
Prices stated do not include skate hire which is an additional $3 each
Does Sk8house have a gift shop?
Sk8house has a range of skates and blades that cater to the general population, with protective gear, shirts, bandanna's and more.
Teachers corner
Sk8house has many schools that book Graduation celebrations, PE classes, Hockey classes, general skating fun and more!
Does Sk8house have healthy eating or Vegan options?
They welcome families to bring their own food in as long as they do not have to take care of it. Many families pack a picnic including a yummy array of fruit and sandwiches.
Is Sk8house fully accessible?
