About Quirindi Rural Heritage Village

Showcasing the history, heritage and culture of the area, the Quirindi Rural Heritage Villge offers a main exhibition area, steam-engine shed, active Village Workshop and blacksmith's shop for fun for the whole family!

The village is set on 20 acres in the rich farming area of Liverpool Plains. 

It's been designed to restore, collection, preseve artefacts that relate to the history and culture of the regional area! So you'll be able to see how far things have come from years behind!

There are also collections of settler era posessions and more than 2000 heritage items on display. 

There's a miniature railway that has more than 800 metres of tracks and operates around a lake area, every fourth Sunday, so make sure to check that out too! 

Their annual rally is worth watching out for with extra events and activities aimed at families.

There's also a stree procession through the town, so any vintage tractor and car ethusisastis out there will have a chance to eye some spectaular veichles up!

I’m Hungry! Can I get food at Quirindi Rural Heritage Village?

Cafe on site offering hot and cold snacks and drinks.

Any top tips when visiting?

The Museum, Heritage Village and coffee shop are open Friday, Saturday and Sundays 10am to 4pm and other times by appointment. Working bees are held on Tuesdays. Miniature trains 4th Sunday of month.

Is Quirindi Rural Heritage Village fully accessible?

Disabled toilet facilities are available as well as standard facilities.
