About Orange Botanic Gardens

Hands up who loves beautiful nature, stunning gardens and peaceful family day outs? You do? Great, because we're about to take you to somewhere that is exactly that! The Orange Botanic Gardens is set across 17 hectares of beautiful landscapes and gardens. Officially opened in 1988 for the Australian Bicentenary, the plantings now range from the original native and exotic trees, plus newly developed displays.

The Orange Botanic Gardens are the perfect place where the family can relax, and just enjoy the wonderful scenery that surrounds you. If you love bird watching, then you are in the right spot too!

The gardens are the perfect place for that family picnic, or just take a stroll in your own time and take it all in. These also exhibit the splendour of the four seasons felt across Orange too. A fun experience for the kids!

, with unusual little buildings and features for kids to spot which really helps keep them interested.

Features include an analemmatic sundial, a historic church building with heritage rose garden, orchard and homestead garden.

There is a also a billabong to be found within the exotic woodlands area.
