About Old Gippstown Heritage Park
Old Gippstown is an 1850s experience which spans scenic parkland and several historical buildings including general store, dress making shop and blacksmith's forge, all authentically stocked. Take a walk and experience history and see the classic vehicles and learn more about the early European settlement of Victoria.
Covering eight acres in total, and serveral National Trust classified buldings, go back in time and browse Gippsland's past.
There's 35 relocated buildings with a wide range of antique furniture and artefacts.
Their aim is to present the history of Gippsland, for the present and future generations too through the preserving, researching and recording of the collections.
See the Blacksmith at his forge, or head to the store to see what was on sale from the past, or why not experience what school was like 1889?
Fancy a bit of fun? You'll be able to play some old fashioned games too!
From horse drawn vehicles, to Tuck's Tinsmith Collection and Meeniyan National Bank, you won't experience anything history like this!

Any top tips when visiting?
Apparently there's a 'ghost' in the jail, presumably a fabric one, you may wish to be aware of this with very small children. It's also dog friendly too!
