Nee Yaw Nee Yaw - that must be the sound of a fire engine ready to get to work! The idea of being a brave firefighter can be exciting, so why not have a museum dedicated to the history of fire fighting, showing kids all about this amazing profession!
The Museum of Fire is a great place for the family to visit, where kids can get up close to the extensive collections of vintage and modern fire fighting equipment, uniforms, and more!
Kids can even get right up close to some pretty impressive fire fighting vehicles that were used throughout history, from hand drawn, and horse drawn vehicles, right through to the modern engines that we know and love today.
The Museum of Fire is not only great in teaching kids all about the history of fire fighting (it had to start somewhere!), but it's also a great place for kids to learn all about fire itself. Is it a friend, or a foe? This kind of knowledge is invaluable, so the museum becomes more than just a trip through history!
The museum appealing to all ages, and even toddlers can comprehend the purpose of it, while older kids can love to learn.
