This iconic museum can inspire kids to be creative, and to use their imagination, and that's what is great about art. The younger kids can look at the colours and the shapes, and the older kids can really start to analyse what they love about the exhibits.
The exhibits might cover digital art, or those classic sculptures.
The museum knows what kids want, and so they have great activities and experiences for them too.
There are Artplay workshops, as well as Art Safari's, and "Make and Play" sessions. All of these workshops are designed JUST for kids and families, so make sure you check the dates and times so you can join!
There's a great Kids' Adventure Trail designed by some of artists on display, with sketch pad option too, be sure to pick one up as you go in. Free guided tours are also available, as are brochures of upcoming special events and workshops.
