MoPA™ have worked with experts from across the globe to assemble a collection of beautiful, creative, immersive and educational exhibits.
The exhibits, and the amazing space itself (the building formerly known as “The Wintergarden”) will inspire you and your child’s inner-creativity and provide a huge range of opportunities for play-based learning. MoPA™ cafe provides a range of healthy snacks to help keep your family energised, as well as gorgeous big bathrooms, feeding rooms, change rooms, pram parking, low-sensory spaces, special needs days, and so much more, to ensure your visit is as comfortable as possible regardless of your child’s age or unique requirements! MoPA™ is a rich experience for people of all ages, with Free-Play sessions available almost every day of the year. MoPA™ also operates classes with play-and-art-based curriculum for pre-schoolers and children in early primary school. And finally, MoPA™ have a number of beautiful spaces set-aside for super-fun birthday parties, events and functions.

The on-site Café provides a huge range of yummy cold and hot food, all at very affordable prices!
Any top tips when visiting?
Get set for a day of art and play! MoPA provide smocks and shoes covers for all messy activities, has lots to do both inside and outside, and has great climate control to ensure the environment is always kept comfortable and calm.
Does MoPA: Museum of Play and Art have a gift shop?
MoPA doesn’t have a retail shop.

MoPA is a play-based learning facility, with rich learning experiences around every corner. MoPA also provides a number of education programs tailored to the outcomes and curriculum for pre-school and early-primary-school years.

For the safety of all guests, MoPA is an entirely nut free environment, and also offers lots of gluten and dairy free alternatives.
Is MoPA: Museum of Play and Art fully accessible?
MoPA provide lots of comfy seating for those that might need to sit a little more often, and 80% of the Museum of accessible by wheelchair. MoPA also has quiet and low-sensory spaces for those that may require a less active environment to chill out for a while between bouts of fun and learning.
