Koorana Crocodile Farm
About Koorana Crocodile Farm
Did you know that crocodiles are the closest link we have today for those prehistoric creatures you may have heard of...dinosaurs!
Koorana Crocodile Farm lets kids feel the rush of being close to these incredible creatures. (Don't worry, they take safety very seriously!)
How big do you think they can get to? What do you think they might look like up close? We have all seen them in documentaries and in photographs, but when you see a crocodile face to face it really is an experience you won't forget!
It's a great way for kids to learn about the lifestyles, habits and habitats of these animals. Did you know their lifestyles vary seasonally? Their lives of mating, dating, egg laying and hatching are all defined by the months of the year, so when you do your tour, you will know exactly what part of the circle of life they are in!
You might even see baby crocs hatching! How awesome would that be!?
Koorana Crocodile Farm hold two tours a day - a morning one and an afternoon one, each lasting 90 minutes. You can learn how a lovely couple - John and Lillian - started off with 3-4 crocodiles back in the early 80s, and grew this farm to over 3000 crocs! That's right - you will be spending your day with over 3000 crocodiles!
Oh - did we mention that you can actually HOLD a croc! Feel it's skin, what does it feel like? Is it smooth or rough?
You can also see a crocodile that's over 3/4 tonne! That's pretty heavy!
Don't forget to book - these tours at Koorana Crocodile Farm get SNAPPED up!
