At Haigh’s they’re very proud to be the oldest family-owned chocolate manufacturing retailer in Australia. Learn how chocolate is made from their raw cocoa beans, carefully selected from plantations around the world. View their quality chocolates in the making and then of course enjoy a taste or two!
Haighs Chocolate Factory combines excellent viewing and tour facilities along with a spacious retail area.
Join them for free guided tours of approximately 20 minutes. Bookings are always essential but kids are more than welcome.
The tours are recommended for over five, but if you do have a little one just let them know and they'll be able to accommodate.
Make sure you leave enough time to explore their store! You cant visit a chocolate factory without sampling the goods?!

Haigh’s have a strong commitment to several environmental issues including sponsorship and financial support for the bilby, a threatened marsupial, native to the Australian outback. Haigh’s is the major sponsor of a special bilby exhibit at the Adelaide Zoo.
Any top tips when visiting?
Tours are recommended for children over five years of age, however, children under five can be accommodated.
Does Haighs Chocolate Factory have healthy eating or Vegan options?
The majority of their products are categorised as “no detectable gluten”. This status can include ingredients which may be wheat derived however are so highly processed that there is undetectable residual gluten and therefore are gluten free by the australian standard “no detectable gluten”. Their retail team can supply a list of products with this status.
Is Haighs Chocolate Factory fully accessible?
Wheelchairs and attendees with mobility issues will be able to access a reduced part of the tour area.
