Gold Coast Regional Botanic Gardens really offer that green oasis in the heart of the city! These free admission gardens are only a 10 minute drive from central Surfers Paradise, offering 31 hectares of parkland and lakes to explore as a family!

There really is an experience for everyone at these year round gardens, from native ecosystems, to mangroves, mountains trail and everything in between. For some history and culture, follow the historic journeys of the Yugambeh people and learn all about their story, before you stop to smell the roses in the Rose Garden!

Kids will always love the Butterfly Garden filled with beautiful colourful creatures as they learn which plants attract butterflies the best. You might also discover new tastes when you explore the bush foods garden as well as the Aboriginal plant use trail.

Gold Coast Regional Botanic Gardens also host a range of events and activities perfect for the whole family. You can register for a guided walk to learn about the beautiful native bees and birds along with many other aspects of the beautiful gardens.
